ITALY. Carcano Antonio S.p.A., producer of hot rolled aluminium plates in various sizes, relies again on Polytec technologies to continue its technological innovation path in production, improving the safety and productivity moreover guarantying top quality products to his customers thanks to the implementation of two new robotics cells supplied by BM Group Polytec.
The two robots will remove the cut scrap, weighing up to 300 kg and with dimensions up to 2160X1200X65 mm, from the shear with a suction cup system resistant to a temperature of about 400° and then deposit it in the unloading boxes. The engineered cell, suitable for operating in harsh environments, will improve operator's safety and improve the cycle time of operations.
